We would like it very much for people to call in.
That is all.

Didn't see this until today (read, "too late"), but how did the interview/discussion go, Bobby?
Quirky Journalism: Egotistical Typing & The Quest for Fame
By Howard W. Campbell

Ms. Quirk's comments on Sledgehammer Party hardly command the descriptor 'review'. In preparation for this review, I researched my subject. I read her review, I saw the play, and I asked about the performance she saw and her interaction with the cast and crew. I was told that she turned down the opportunity to read the script, she took constant notes during the performance and that that evening's performance was on par with the other two performances opening weekend.
The stark contrast between her review and the review in The Isthmus is the difference between sophomoric chiding and journalism. I imagine Ms. Quirk making a snide mental note that I'm only typing this because The Isthmus gave a favorable review of my friend's play. I'm writing this commentary because I hold that I can justify my claims, even with examples from the text. Secondly, as a journalist, I disclose my biases instead of covertly letting a bad Internet date color my depiction--a detail I bet Ms. Quirk will deny had impact on her "review"...
